How to Change Image

Learn how to upload your own photo and replace the sample image in your invitation.

STEP 1 - UPLOAD YOUR IMAGE

Follow these steps to upload your own image from your computer to Canva.

Find & click the image placeholder labeled “Upload your picture here” in your invitation template

2. Find the Uploads icon in Canva's sidebar.

3. Click Uploads to open the Uploads panel.

4. Click Upload files and select an image from your computer.

5. Once uploaded, your image will appear in the Uploads panel.

STEP 2 - HOW TO REPLACE YOUR IMAGE

Now that your image is uploaded, it's time to add it to your invitation.

1. Find your image in the Uploads panel.
2. Drag your image onto the placeholder labeled “Upload your picture here” to replace it.
3. Check that your image appears in the correct place.

TIPS: If Something Goes Wrong

Image in the wrong spot?
Press Ctrl + Z (Windows) or Command (⌘) + Z (Mac) to undo, then try again.

Accidentally deleted something?
If Undo doesn't help, reopen the original template link in your PDF Access file for a fresh copy.
Note: Your previous edits won't carry over, so you'll need to edit the new copy again.
